Job Description

Who We Are

CORE: is a highly curated members-only club spanning the top four floors of 711 Fifth Avenue, home to six distinct culinary offerings โ€” a flagship restaurant, a sushi kitchen, a wraparound terrace, a speakeasy, a culinary lab hosting guest chefs from around the world, and private dining and meeting rooms. Our culinary team, steeped in Michelin-starred pedigree, celebrates ethically farmed, impeccably sourced ingredients across every space.

At CORE: where we were named Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list, published in The Economist. We curate a global community of unlike-minded individuals united by their courage to defy definitions. Our members and Partners are relentlessly curious world builders, change makers, visionaries, leaders, and agents of transformation, who come from a range of thirteen distinct industries. As a community, we are committed to our collective performance, powered by dynamic engagement and exchange.

Partnering closely with the F&B Director, the F&B Manager stewards day-to-day FOH operations across all CORE: venues, cultivates and develops talent, and safeguards the standard of service and hospitality that defines the CORE: experience. This role is instrumental to our broader service mission โ€” elevating every interaction into a signature moment of care, precision, and presence.

Responsibilities

  • Support scheduling and beverage program ordering (liquor, beer, wine, consumables)
  • Conduct weekly liquor/wine inventory and monthly full beverage inventory
  • Help design and deliver sophisticated FOH beverage training
  • Uphold uncompromising quality control across service and F&B
  • Lead and develop Partners โ€” scheduling, assigning work, performance review, coaching, and resolution
  • Resolve Member and guest concerns with grace, discretion, and speed
  • Champion initiatives that elevate Member satisfaction
  • Coordinate seamlessly across departments in service of the Member experience
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs, ensuring every detail honors the CORE: standard

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management/supervisory experience in restaurants; hotel experience a plus
  • A distinguished background in fine dining and command of elevated service standards
  • Deep fluency in food, wine, and beverage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Composure under pressure, with a gift for graceful conflict resolution
  • Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and leading teams
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building instincts
  • Familiarity with Aloha or similar POS systems
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

What We Offer

Competitive compensation with a generous bonus package, meaningful growth and training opportunities, a culture of respect and inspired teamwork, and a modern, playful, inventive environment. Benefits include health/dental/vision, basic life, STD/LTD, transit benefits, PTO, paid holidays, personal days, 401(k), family meal, and much more.

CORE: is proud to be an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. Celebrating diversity is essential to who we are. All employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business need.
