Fabrication Lead

Are you an experienced fabrication professional with strong leadership skills and welding experience? We are looking for a Fabrication Lead to oversee daily fabrication operations, lead a team, and ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.

Location: Mesquite, Texas 75149

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Flexible 10-hour shift; occasional overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $19.00

Duties:

• Lead a team of 8–10 employees while supporting production, assembly, and testing of manufactured parts.
• Assist with all areas of fabrication, including CNC Laser, Press Brake, Hydraulic Tube Bending System, and Welding.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards are met, while reading and interpreting blueprints and using measuring tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, troubleshoot equipment issues, assist with changeovers, and complete required production documentation.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Lead role and 2+ years of welding experience; welding certification or license preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Strong understanding of welding procedures with the ability to read and understand blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Forklift experience and proficiency using calipers, tape measures, and digital angle finders; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
