We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join an expanding New Jersey practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling personal injury matters and the ability to independently manage cases throughout the litigation process. This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of a personal injury caseload, develop case strategy, advocate for clients, and work collaboratively with a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage personal injury cases from evaluation to resolution
• Develop and execute effective case strategies
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
• Negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to manage cases efficiently
• Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and other evidence to assess case value
• Stay current on personal injury law developments and court procedures

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in personal injury law
