EYFS Teacher - Harrow - SEN

A welcoming specialist primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a passionate educator who is focused on delivering high‑quality teaching and creating positive learning experiences for pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

As an EYFS Teacher in Harrow, you will play a key role in pupils' academic and social development within a well‑resourced learning environment. You will work alongside teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure pupils can access learning and achieve their potential.

Key Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons tailored to learning needs.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively.
• Develop communication and social skills through structured learning activities.
• Work with teaching assistants and wider school staff to achieve positive outcomes for pupils.
• Build professional relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Strong knowledge of early years practice and development.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Patient and flexible approach to teaching.
• Experience working with a range of learning needs and abilities is desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and current educational practices.
