Export Sales Admin

Overview

As Export Sales Administrator, you will manage export orders and documentation to support Atkore’s international sales. You’ll coordinate with external International Sales Managers, transport companies, and customers to ensure timely, compliant order fulfilment. You’ll handle exports from receipt to dispatch, maintain shipment records, and communicate changes in despatch dates.

This role sits at the crossroads of sales, logistics, and compliance, enabling high-quality service to global customers.

• Process orders in Syspro, check inventory, and resolve customer queries including debits and credits
• Serve as primary contact for customers, international sales managers, and transport providers
• Manage end-to-end orders (receipt to dispatch) and prepare internal export documents and invoicing
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and liaise with external bodies for country-specific customs
• Coordinate with internal teams on manufacturing, dispatch, stock, pricing, and discounts
• Provide technical support where possible and respond to customer enquiries with International Sales Managers
• Store and file shipment documents and manifests; update despatch dates in Syspro and notify customers
• Follow company procedures for ongoing administrative tasks and uphold health and safety standards

• Experience in export commercial documentation
• Good level of English and Mathematics
• Computer literate with intermediate or higher in Word and Excel
• Good telephone manner
• Ability to build rapport with customers and understand customer service principles
• Team player with ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
