Your Role
As a vital MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician in our Stroud bays, you will:
- Conduct MOT testing inspections alongside routine vehicle maintenance and premium servicing to exceptionally high standards.
- Use modern diagnostic equipment for precise fault-finding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical problem-solving across various makes and models.
- Handle a wide range of mechanical repairs and complete thorough vehicle preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain clean, organized, and safety-first workshop standards to keep the facility running efficiently.
What You Need
- Licensing & Certification: A valid DVSA MOT Testing licence and full UK drivers licence are essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred.
- Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics. NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 is preferred, though time-served technical experience is highly valued. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair and diagnostic tasks effectively.
- Key Strengths: Strong customer service skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
