EXECUTIVE - TENDER & PROPOSALS Job Description : Analyze the provided drawings, develop a detailed project cost estimate, and prepare a clear, budget-conscious quotation Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Procurement, and Operations teams to gather required inputs for costing. Gather proposals, specifications and related documents and liaise with stakeholders in order to convert specifications to cost estimates for new and current products Assess cost effectiveness of products and track actual costs relative to budget and report status to Manager Possess knowledge in creating effective presentations and well-structured techno-commercial proposals. Perform quantity take-off and BOQ preparation from drawings.

Collect and evaluate vendor, subcontractor, and material quotations. Support revision costing during negotiation and client clarification stages. Update ERP opportunity costing modules and maintain records.

Ensure costing compliance with company standards, SOPs, and templates. Maintain costing databases, labour norms, and material rate references. Support site visits with Sales team for project study and feasibility understanding.

Maintain proper documentation for audit and future project reference. Qualifications, Experience, Skillsets and Attributes: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in any relevant field 2-3 years of experience in the metal structural field as a Supervisor/Engineer. Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills Commercially and financially aware Knowledge of estimating techniques Results orientated and organised with the ability to deliver against deadlines Qualification and Experience Some previous experience of cost estimating, ideally in metal structural field Knowledge of the following software -Autocad - Sketchup - Rhino(Basic knowledge) - Exel -Google sheets Ideally experienced in the use of spreadsheets, estimating pricing models and cost management.
