Responsibilities: Prospect, cold call, and close new customers to grow your book of business Develop long-term relationships and serve as the main point of contact for your accounts Source, negotiate, and manage carrier relationships to ensure freight is moved efficiently and cost-effectively Manage the full shipment lifecycle: quoting, booking, tracking, and troubleshooting Deliver exceptional service and communication to both shippers and carriers Work independently while also collaborating with a high-energy, growth-driven team Monitor market trends and stay competitive with pricing and margin strategy Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in a freight brokerage or 3PL environment Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales and margin goals Ability to build a book from scratch and grow customer relationships over time Strong understanding of full truckload (FTL), LTL, and other freight modes Grit, resilience, and drive this is a performance-focused environment Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
