About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary expert in clinical drug development to take on the role of Global Product Lead in Immunology Research and Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a successful strategy in the acceleration of cellular therapies for patients with immune-mediated diseases. This role demands a dedicated individual with a strong passion for science, substantial clinical development experience in immunology, and the ability to provide both strategic and operational leadership.
The Global Product Lead will be accountable for the asset strategy of multiple early-stage immunology programs, crafting the overall asset strategy, and defining the range of life cycle management investment options. They will also be tasked with executing clinical trials, shaping the molecule's integrated strategic science story, and leading a cross-functional team to ensure the delivery of the pre-clinical and clinical development plan. Candidates for this role at the company should hold a Masters, Ph.D., or MD with over 10 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in early-stage drug development.
Essential skills include a performance-driven mindset, the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders, and a deep understanding of basic and translational science. The role requires an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, proven problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage large budgets. While not mandatory, specific immunology development expertise and experience in other therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, rare disease, or respiratory are considered desirable.
The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex organizations, be results-oriented, and have a track record of delivering high-risk projects in a complex environment.
