Job Description Professional Estate Manager responsible for providing oversight and management of a large private estate Ensure that all operations run smoothly and are completed according to the wishes of the estate owner(s). Facilitate an upscale resort-style property in a warm and friendly home environment Duties and Responsibilities Managing interior and exterior household staff, such as housekeepers, cooks, gardeners, and facilities/maintenance team Overseeing property maintenance and repairs completed by in-house maintenance team and external vendors Overseeing landscaping by in-house team and external vendors, including lawn, garden and tree maintenance Vendor management and scheduling Managing and reporting on Estate Manager budget and expenses Identify, plan and coordinate capital improvement projects and large repair projects Assist with organizing and scheduling staff for events and gatherings, such as parties or dinners Serving as liaison between household staff, vendors and Estate Owners Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective estate management Coordinate with Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, family office, and staff at Owners’ other properties Ensuring that the estate is secure and well-maintained at all times Skills and Qualifications Eligible to work in the United States Proficient verbal and written English language, Spanish bilingual is a plus Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people Substantial knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical systems, elevators, irrigation systems, pool and spa) Experience with SmartHome systems, such as Lutron, Crestron Previous demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team of approximately 10+/- household staff effectively Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) and computer hardware such as printers and scanners Five years + previous hands‑on property management, including maintenance and repairs required Strong knowledge of etiquette, protocols, and customs associated with high-level households or communities Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, able to use stairs, and ladders Pre‑employment background check and drug screen required Non-smoking/vaping during working hours or at any time on the property Comfortable and appropriate behavior with children and pets Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Management and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
