Environments Manager – 6-Month Contract, Dublin City Centre

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Environment Manager to establish and lead a new Environment Management Function within a major digital transformation programme. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for creating a stable, scalable, and well-governed environment landscape across the full delivery lifecycle.

You’ll take ownership of programme environments (Development, System, SIT, UAT and Production), ensuring they are secure, available, and deployment-ready while supporting a complex technology landscape spanning Azure, Dynamics 365, on-premise data sources, and integrated platforms.

What’s involved:

• Lead the end-to-end management of all programme environments.
• Define and implement a unified Environment Operating Model, including governance, processes, tooling, and controls.
• Manage environment planning, refresh cycles, availability, and cross-workstream dependencies.
• Collaborate with Release Management to ensure successful deployments and cutovers.
• Drive environment stability through proactive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and automation.
• Build and lead an Environment Management capability that will transition into an enterprise-wide service.
• Establish reporting, monitoring, and governance to ensure compliance within a regulated Financial Services environment.

What you need:

• 10+ years' experience in Environment Management, Release Management, DevOps, or Platform Operations.
• Strong expertise in Azure, Dynamics 365, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience managing complex environment landscapes within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver in regulated Financial Services environments.
• A proactive, organised leader with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
