Environmental Data Analyst

Required to join an established environmental team ensuring the site maintains the highest standards of environmental compliance and sustainability

• Collect, validate and maintain environmental datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain environmental dashboards, reports and KPIs.
• Ensure accuracy, traceability and integrity of environmental data.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements including EPA submissions, environmental performance reports and sustainability reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data management.

Environmental Performance & Sustainability

• Analyse trends in energy, water, waste, emissions and environmental performance metrics.
• Support carbon footprint calculations and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with ESG reporting and corporate environmental objectives.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and performance monitoring.
• Maintain environmental information within systems such as Environmental Management Systems (EMS), reporting platforms and data management tools.
• Develop data visualisations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• Support ISO 14001 compliance activities and environmental improvement programmes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve environmental performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in environmental data analysis, reporting or sustainability within a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similar regulated manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of EPA compliance requirements and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Power Query or other data analytics tools.
• Understanding of carbon accounting and ESG reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent data management and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
