Engineering Leader

Role Summary This position plans and develops security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Works with management and other personnel to identify best practices as a senior systems engineer covering windows engineering along with the security aspects of on-premises Active Directory (AD) and AWS Managed AD. This position leads experienced technical staff on the technical aspects of Systems engineer who has expertise on Windows Engineering, AD/AWSAD architecture, Engineering, development, and operations.

Role Responsibilities Manage a team of System Engineers Collaborate cross-functionally with business and other IT teams across Delta. Understand technical/business requirements gathered from the business units. Coordinate and leading the Analysis, design, and documentation of platforms/systems to meet enterprise requirements.

Install, customize, maintain, test, and troubleshoot operating systems and other systems software. Configure, install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot hardware systems. Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems.

Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies for enterprise use to consistently drive down total cost of ownership. Experience in AWS workloads. Develop and drive an Active Directory strategy to modernize and secure on-premises AD and AWSAD platforms.

Designing a directory services infrastructure that meets the organization’s needs and implementing it Designing and implementing security policies that conform to industry best practices and align with organizational risk management objectives Create and maintain system documentation for AD and AWSAD technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps. Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new and/or improved information security with a focus on Active Directory. Perform technical reviews comparing enterprise standard platform components with that of their leading industry competitors.

Ensure platforms/systems conform to established enterprise/industry standards (systems management, security, operating systems, etc.) and reference models. Monitor, manage, and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers.

Plan and implement life cycle management of software and hardware. Keep abreast of industry and technology trends. #J-18808-Ljbffr
