Job Description
Location: Fitzpatrick NPP This role may be filled at Entry, Mid, or Senior levels. See minimum qualifications for each level below. Primary Purpose of Position Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations.
Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Provides initial or complete task management of engineering issues. Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Salary and Total Rewards Expected salary range: Entry Level: $76,000 Mid-level: $86,000 - $106,000 Senior Level: $110,000 - $124,000 Ranges are per year based on experience and include comprehensive benefits such as competitive salaries, bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program, medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and wellbeing programs. Minimum Qualifications for Associating Engineering Analyst/E01 Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) Associate's degree in a technical field and at least 1 year of nuclear or related industry experience High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirement, and favorable medical examination and/or testing as per position duties Minimum Qualifications for Engineering Analyst/E02 Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and at least 2 years nuclear or related industry experience Associate's degree in a technical field and at least 3 years nuclear or related industry experience High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years applicable nuclear experience Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirement, and favorable medical examination and/or testing as per position duties Minimum Qualifications for Engineering Analyst/E03 Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and at least 5 years nuclear or related industry experience Associate's degree in a technical field and at least 7 years nuclear or related industry experience High School Diploma/GED and at least 8 years nuclear experience, of which 5 years should be at the exempt level Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirement, and favorable medical examination and/or testing as per position duties Preferred Qualifications Experience in finance and nuclear/power plant systems is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
