Engineer

Overview

As an Engineer in Skanska’s Building Operating Unit, you will plan, coordinate and monitor the engineering aspects of sub-contract work for a major Central London development. You will work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance, quality and safety across site activities. You’ll contribute to the delivery of a complex commercial project while upholding Skanska’s standards and processes.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on QA, temporary works and RAMS to drive successful project outcomes.

• Plan, coordinate and monitor site engineering activities for sub-contract packages (demolition, excavation, drainage, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete)
• Assist Senior Engineer to ensure all project compliance
• Develop relationships with Client’s team, consultants, subcontractors and external parties
• Ensure project specifications, quality requirements and industry best practices are followed
• Carry out project-specific Quality Assurance inspections and checks
• Manage all temporary works activities (design compliance, RAMS, installation, inspections, loading/unloading)

• BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Relevant experience on projects of equivalent complexity
