Electrical Systems Manufacturing Engineer

Join New Flyer as an Electrical Systems Manufacturing Engineer, where you will integrate electrical systems and improve manufacturing processes through lean initiatives. Help achieve operational excellence. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, you will support engineering functions within assigned manufacturing cells.

Your role includes troubleshooting electrical systems, implementing engineering changes, and conducting contract reviews. Collaborating effectively as part of your team will be vital to ensure operational metrics are met and to pursue remedial actions as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Provide engineering support within manufacturing cells • Design and specify equipment and tooling • Lead lean initiatives for process improvement • Create and maintain shop floor instructions • Engage in cross-functional SWAT team meetings Requirements: • Degree in engineering or equivalent experience • Required lean certification or relevant experience • Proficient with AutoCAD and knowledgeable in Unigraphics • Strong organizational skills and goal-oriented mindset • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Enhance your engineering skills while contributing to sustainable mass mobility solutions at New Flyer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
