Electrical Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic Sydney based team. The role involves a variety of projects and services-based work, focused on electrical, automation / control systems and solutions, with high voltage, low voltage experience primarily in the Transportation, Infrastructure, Water, Manufacturing, and Gas industries.

We are looking for someone with a strong passion and drive who will be responsible for the following activities:

Assist with the design, development, commissioning, and support of automation and electrical systems in both project and services environments.

Assist with the design development, modify, and review electrical drawings including single line diagrams, electrical schematics, general arrangement drawings, termination schedules, cable schedules, bill of materials (BOM) etc. using Autocad and other software packages.

Continuously improve and maintain client process, automation, and electrical systems.

Work as an active and effective engineering team member

Provide support, technical advice, and assistance to team members.

Assist in management of contractors for site work.

Contribute to the development of best practice methodologies, Internal Systems and procedures and maintaining internal electrical documentations and Templates.

Meet engineering & project cost targets as set by Management

The successful applicant will have:

Degree qualified preferable in Electrical Engineering.

2-6 years of industry experience

Strong technical aptitude, including computer and programming/coding skills

Proven experience working withElectrical ControlSystemdesign and implementation.

Strong documentation and technical writing skills

Demonstrated strong work ethic and a proactive willingness to learn

Strong process improvement capability

Proventrack recordof successful project delivery within theautomation and transportindustry

Willing to work in a team environment.

Preferable knowledge in PLC control systems and the Australian Standards

This position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
