Electrical Engineer

Work as part of the mill engineering team to meet the full maintenance requirements of Ashbourne Feed Mill. Responsibilities Ensure a maintenance plan is in place and adhered to such that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times. Provide and maintain a breakdown call‑out plan to minimize production downtime.

Provide regular reports on the maintenance status of the mill as a KPI. Maintain all pressure systems ensuring they fully comply with all legal and insurance requirements. Assist in the purchasing and stock control of all site maintenance requirements inline with budget targets.

Maintain the current company permit‑to‑work system. Assist in ensuring that all work carried out by maintenance teams and contractors fully complies with the company’s health and safety policy. Monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from the processes within the area of responsibility; ensure that all direct reports and colleagues are briefed and clear in regards to their responsibilities as outlined in the Moy Park Group Risk Management System Manual.

Provide out‑of‑hours cover for breakdowns. Qualifications BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Electrically qualified to the 17th edition.

Mechanical qualification. Organised. Good interpersonal skills.
