Electrical Engineer

My Client, who is located in Cook County, is looking for an Electrical Engineer. They operate as a team, working closely with their Architecture, Mechanical, Plumbing/Fire Protection and Leadership teams will be essential.

You will perform work predominantly in higher education, healthcare and industrial facilities, and will require the initiative to ownership of your work as needed with minimal supervision. Hybrid Office Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday in office (8 hours); Tuesday, Thursday virtual (8 hours) EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE: 4- 6 years of experience in electrical design and analysis of building systems and campuses Modeling & Analysis of all aspects of the electrical systems Interface with code officials and contractors, and working with architects and clients EIT, preferred Professional Engineer, preferred Designing building electrical systems Calculating accurate loads of electrical systems Develop project specifications to accompany design drawings Survey and evaluation of existing building and site conditions DESIRED SOFTWARE PROFICIENCIES: REVIT Electrical Design, required MS Office, required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Some experience with SKM or similar Power Analysis Software a plus (ability to input data and interpret results on a basic level) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize Revit to produce drawings and models for various projects Participate in Shop Drawing as part of the submittal and review process Respond to project RFI’s accurately and in a timely manner Completing additional duties as assigned*
