Electrical Engineer

Job Description Job Description This Electrical Engineer role offers a strong blend of technical responsibility and leadership, giving you ownership of electrical and controls systems from design through product release. Youll work on complex equipment where your contributions directly impact performance and reliability, while collaborating across teams and helping guide engineering standards. Work Model: On-Site What You Will Do: Lead design reviews, troubleshooting efforts, and key technical decisions Design and develop electrical and control systems, including schematics, wiring layouts, panels, and motor controls Partner with cross-functional teams such as mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and service Develop, program, and support PLC software (CoDeSys) and operator interface systems Drive new product development from initial concept through final release Ensure all designs meet applicable industry standards, including UL 508A compliance What You Will Need to Be Successful: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or a related discipline Strong experience with PLC programming (CoDeSys) and AC/DC power systems Minimum of 5 years working with electrical and control systems Background supporting industrial or mobile equipment control systems Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP systems Benefits Overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k PTO Other retirement benefits Interested and qualified candidates can contact Alex Borsay at (515) 225-7000 or [email protected]. #ZR Company Description Searching for a job can be difficult, and finding the right fit is even harder.
