Job Description
Innovasea | Aquatic Solutions Built for Life We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities Designing, documenting, testing and debugging embedded systems (hardware and firmware) as part of the product development process using standard lab equipment and tools. Performing analog and digital circuit design (op-amps, filters, signal conditioning).
Coding embedded firmware in C/C++. Interfacing with other departments, such as Production, Procurement and Customer Support, to answer technical questions, support existing products, and troubleshoot identified problems. Analyzing data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Learning new technologies to grow our product offering. Required Skills and Experience Three to five years of experience in the design/development/test of embedded systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
Ability to collaborate with others and work in a team-based environment. Flexibility to learn new skills and take on new tasks, including areas outside core area of expertise. Effective oral communications with strong technical writing skills.
Education Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Component selection, derating, and BOM creation. Schematic capture using Altium or similar tools.
Peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB). Bootloaders and firmware update mechanisms. Low-power firmware design and optimization.
Knowledge of communication protocols and system integration. Version control using Git. Build systems and toolchains (Make, CMake, GCC, etc.).
Familiarity with safety, reliability, and regulatory considerations. Oxygen patch operation and behavior. Registered with Engineers NS as an EIT or Professional Engineer.
