Role Description The Educational Counsellor – German Finishing School role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, India. The role involves guiding prospective and enrolled students through program options, admission processes, and learning pathways related to the German Finishing School. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, providing career and education guidance, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and maintaining accurate student records.

The Educational Counsellor will collaborate with faculty, administrative staff, and external partners to ensure a smooth learner journey and clear communication of program requirements and outcomes. The role also includes organizing information sessions, supporting orientation activities, and offering ongoing support to help learners make informed academic and career decisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Educational Consulting and Education guidance for diverse learner backgrounds.
• Experience in Student Counseling, including individual and group sessions for academic and personal support.
• Strong Communication skills for clear, professional interaction with students, families, and partners.
• Background in Career Counseling, helping learners understand career paths, requirements, and opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Sciences, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with international education pathways, preferably German language or Germany-focused programs is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment in Bengaluru, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages and/or German is a plus.
