Job Description Performs and assists with a variety of echocardiographic tests and other related duties, working under limited supervision to ensure high quality diagnostic studies. Reports to the manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology Services. Produce echocardiograms that satisfy the laboratory protocols for standard transthoracic imaging and for special conditions including valvular heart disease, stress echocardiography, 3D echocardiography and strain imaging.

Participates fully in all the routine procedures within the laboratory, including transesophageal echo, stress echo, and structural heart disease cases Identify studies which require vetting for appropriateness. When present, recognizes true cardiac emergencies, including cardiac tamponade, aortic dissection, and acute valvular regurgitation. Uses contrast for appropriate indications Has facility with a full variety of special indications, including patients with ventricular assist devices (LVAD and RVAD), Impella pumps, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

Performs echocardiograms on patients participating in clinical trials according to the prescribed protocol Qualifications: Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Health Care. One year previous echo experience. Two years echo experience in a hospital setting preferred RCS by CCI or RDCS by ARDMS We take great care of careers.
