Description Conduct assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, creating personalized treatment strategies Implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home exercise routines Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility regulations and standards Engage in collaborative care meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to assure seamless patient care Education Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credential from an accredited institution Certifications State licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, although not required Skills Prior experience strongly preferred Ability to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in utilizing digital charting and clinical documentation systems Benefits Competitive salary and compensation package Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage Professional development opportunities through continuing education and licensure reimbursement Generous paid time off with options for flexible scheduling A supportive team culture that encourages clinical advancement Your Daily Journey Each day in this role presents unique challenges and valuable interactions.
