Director, Strategic Partnerships (Relocation to Singapore)

Overview

In this role you will lead and own the APAC partnerships strategy to support Airwallex’s regional and global growth. You’ll manage high-impact partnerships, nurture executive relationships, and coordinate cross‑functional due diligence to assess commercial, product and systems fit. You’ll act as a regional expert, shaping partner choices and strategic initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives.

This is a high‑visibility role in a fast‑moving fintech environment where collaboration and decisive action matter. You’ll influence the partner ecosystem to drive Airwallex’s mission of a global payments platform.

• Lead, develop, own, refine, and implement a partnerships strategy aligned with the business vision
• Manage the region's most strategically important partnership opportunities and executive relationships
• Analyze competitive landscape and advise executive management on partner strategy
• Serve as main contact for APAC GMs and ensure execution of strategic partnership initiatives
• Coordinate due diligence with prospective partners and lead cross‑functional project management
