Director of Sales and Marketing
SkyBridge Luxury & Associates
Job Description
I’m currently partnering on an exciting opportunity for a Director of Sales & Marketing for an iconic hotel located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. Set within the historic Haslett Warehouse, this one-of-a-kind waterfront boutique hotel blends rich maritime character with elevated, modern hospitality, offering breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on commercial leader who thrives in a lifestyle‑driven environment and understands how to position a unique, story‑rich hotel within a competitive urban market. The property attracts a strong mix of leisure, corporate, and curated group business and operates as a high‑volume, rooms‑driven and catering‑heavy asset, making this a dynamic platform for a leader who knows how to drive both brand and revenue, particularly through leveraging San Francisco’s citywide convention calendar and key compression periods tied to the Moscone Center. The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead total revenue strategy across transient, group, and catering, while elevating the hotel’s positioning within the luxury and boutique travel space. This includes executing ADR‑focused strategies, strengthening client relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and leading a high‑performing sales team, all while maintaining an active sales portfolio. You’ll partner closely with Revenue Management and Corporate Marketing to ensure strong market positioning and performance, while bringing a balance of data‑driven strategy and creative, experience‑led selling. The ideal candidate brings experience from lifestyle or independent luxury hotels, strong leadership and team development capabilities, and a deep understanding of urban market dynamics, with exposure to citywide convention cycles being a strong plus. If this sounds like you—or someone in your network—I’d love to connect.
