Job Overview SGA H Care is looking for dedicated and experienced Directors of Nursing to join our team and collaborate with our Long-Term Care Facility Partners across New York State. This is an exciting opportunity for nursing professionals seeking to make a permanent move or those interested in flexible work options while having a significant impact in long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities Supervise Nursing Staff: Lead and manage the nursing team within the facility, ensuring compliance with high standards of patient care and best practice protocols. Resident Health Assessments: Evaluate the health needs of each resident and develop individualized care plans that are consistently monitored and adjusted as needed. Collaboration: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for all residents.

Policy Development: Create, implement, and review nursing policies and procedures to align with state regulations and best practices. Staff Hiring and Training: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and education of nursing staff, ensuring they are well-prepared and competent in their roles. Staffing Oversight: Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and that all staff maintain current licenses and certifications.

Incident Management: Remain informed of incidents within the facility and address them promptly, with a focus on quality care and safety. Qualifications Current New York State RN license is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care environments or hospital setting.

At least 2 years of experience in a Director of Nursing role preferred (not required). Demonstrated ability in supervision and effective leadership in a healthcare setting. Compensation and Benefits Full-Time Positions: Our partners are offering competitive salary packages, with compensation ranging from $105,000 to $150,000 on average, including some positions that offer sign-on bonuses.

Agency Rates: For agency roles, hourly rates range from $55.00 to $80.00, dependent on experience and location.
