Director of Nursing Registered Nurse

Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Registered Nurse Director of Nursing to join our team at Mountainside Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Mountainside, New Jersey. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and aides, implementing recommended changes, and ensuring exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and aides at our Long Term Care facility
• Implement recommended changes as required
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor resident care, reporting changes to the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing
• Document resident care and treatment records accurately and in a timely manner
• Liaise with attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls during off-business hours
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurse\'s notes, and incident/accident reports

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Education: not applicable
