Director of Nursing (DON)

Bear Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking to hire an experienced Director of Nursing (RN). The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Requirements Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state employed. Previous experience as a Director of Nursing and experience in working with geriatric residents is preferred. Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
