Job Description

Role Overview The Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) provides strategic clinical oversight, operational leadership, and hands‑on nursing support across their assigned region. The RDON ensures the delivery of high‑quality, compliant home health services for former nuclear workers under the DOL‑EEOICPA program. They serve as a leader, mentor, and problem‑solver for field staff while driving patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the successful onboarding of new patients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead, manage, and drive accountability for clinical teams, ensuring care quality, documentation timeliness, and utilization performance through coaching and engagement. Ensure clinical quality and compliance, performing chart audits and adhering to DOL and state requirements, and working with QA to close gaps. Own the patient and employee experience, resolving concerns quickly and maintaining continuity of care.

Enable clinical growth and strategic patient onboarding, managing start‑of‑care execution and documentation to support authorizations. Collaborate across departments to optimize utilization, staffing, and clinical outcomes, contributing to business execution and financial performance. Education and Experience Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.

Valid Registered Nurse license in Nevada, New Mexico, or Texas. Minimum 3–4 years of nursing experience; at least 4 years in home health or nursing leadership strongly preferred. Prior leadership or management experience advantageous.

Strong knowledge of home health regulations and standards; familiarity with Department of Labor regulations a plus. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and be on‑call. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for state travel. Background check and drug screening required. Benefits and Compensation Base salary: $115,000–$125,000.

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000. Eligible for annual bonus. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), unlimited PTO benefits package.
