Director of Nursing

Responsibilities Perform new patient assessments, re‑assessments for existing clients and employee supervisory visits.

Develop plans of care for patients receiving medical and non‑medical services. Manage incoming referrals for skilled services and schedule staff accordingly. Manage scheduling for existing skilled nursing clients.

Supervise, educate and coach other nursing personnel and caregivers. Plan and implement in‑services and training programs. Oversee the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.

Ensure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Promote home health referrals in the health care community. Requirements Current unrestricted RN license in Illinois.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program. Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required.

Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred. Reliable car/auto insurance. Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
