Support from the local community plays a critical role in achieving this mission of conservation and enrichment. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Fund Development, based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Director of Fund Development will oversee the organization’s fundraising operations, including planned and annual giving, corporate philanthropy, and donor relations.
Key responsibilities include creating and implementing strategic fundraising plans, building relationships with donors, managing fund development campaigns, and ensuring the achievement of revenue goals to support the organization’s mission. Collaboration with the team to identify new funding opportunities and development strategies is also a core function of this role. Qualifications Expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies Proven experience in Philanthropy and Fundraising campaigns Strong background in Strategic Planning and donor management Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Knowledge of nonprofit practices and fundraising compliance Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus Passion for environmental conservation and public outdoor spaces #J-18808-Ljbffr
