We're looking for a intermediate DevOps Engineer to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Azure environment. This is a hands-on role covering change, runbooks, investigation, alerting, and monitoring. It suits someone who wants to build deep operational experience in a live cloud environment and grow their skills across security, automation, and release management.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities as DevOps Engineer would be:
- Provide BAU maintenance and support for a live website hosted in Azure
- Manage releases and environments across the cloud lifecycle
- Monitor and respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and maintain runbooks
- Apply a security-first mindset to day-to-day cloud operations
- Use cloud security tools to manage and maintain the Azure environment
- Support container and Kubernetes-based workloads
Requirements:
- Hands-on Azure experience, comfortable working in an Azure environment
- Experience with BAU maintenance of a website
- A general security-focused mindset
- Familiarity with cloud security tools for managing and maintaining cloud environments
- Understanding of cloud architectures, design, and standards
- Experience with alerting and monitoring of solutions
- Experience with release and environment management in the cloud
- Understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and virtualisation technology
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in other cloud environments such as AWS
- Familiarity with ITIL-type processes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Python)
- Understanding of cloud automation, pipelines, and best practices
