You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications.
You will oversee manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations-- and you'll coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects, identifying sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on shop floor experience in high-tech manufacturing environments and a deep understanding of mechanical design principles, including GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. Lead mechanical design projects from concept through to product release. * Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools. * Support prototype development and testing, incorporating feedback into design iterations. * Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. * Turning, milling, welding, electro-erosion, polishing, etc. * Hands-on experience in high-tech manufacturing environments, preferably involving precision mechanics and diverse materials. * Demonstrated success in vendor collaboration and project completion to product release. * Fluent in English, with good proficiency in German.
