With 21 years of experience delivering institutional real estate across three core sectors—Residential, Retail and Hotels—the firm is strategically positioned to capitalise on opportunities in both markets.

Due to the exponential growth and diversification of our business, we are seeking a driven, autonomous and capable Development Manager (DM) to join our Development division!

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise, execute and project manage current and proposed residential living projects across the business, delivering projects within agreed financial parameters and programme
  • Conduct analytical monthly management reporting
  • Manage full development management lifecycle including the pre-planning & approvals process through to delivery, construction activities and settlement
  • Liaise and lead internal resources as well as manage external consultants whilst developing project strategies throughout the life cycle of each project
  • Negotiate, lobby & manage relevant stakeholders and authorities across each project
  • Manage feasibility and budget reporting together with master plan design input to ensure maximisation of project outcomes
  • Assist with assessment and feasibility of acquisition opportunities
  • Ensure ongoing project approvals by developing and maintaining relationships with relevant Councils & development authorities
  • Monitor project costs, create due diligence budgets and track consultant performance
  • Organise workshops with internal and external stakeholders in relation to architecture, cost estimating and other key submission inputs

About you

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential and/or mixed use developments
  • Tertiary qualification in urban design, planning, engineering, property development, property economics, construction, financial orclient-sideproject management discipline or related industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, initiative, high level of organisation skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Experience in management of end to end life cycle of projects, from inception to delivery
  • Experience in residential development and project marketing is favourable
