Job Description

Allegra Recruitment is working withan established property development organisation with a significant pipeline of residential projects across NSW to recruit a Development Manager.

This is an opportunity for an energetic development or client-side project management professional to work on complex projects alongside high-calibre multidisciplinary teams and contribute to developments that will create up to 1200 new homes in some of NSW's most active markets.

The Opportunity

You will join a highly experienced development team responsible for delivering significant residential developments.

There are two major projects at varying stages of the development lifecycle, from early masterplanning and approvals through to construction and delivery. The projects include substantial greenfield communities and the redevelopment of strategically located urban sites into new residential neighbourhoods.

Responsibilities

  • large-scale greenfield and urban renewal development;
  • infrastructure, transport, access and connectivity;
  • development feasibility and commercial strategy;
  • masterplanning and place-led design;
  • rezoning and complex statutory approval pathways;
  • public domain and open space development

The Role

Reporting to a Development Director, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to progress projects, including;

  • Managing development activities across feasibility, planning, design, approvals, construction, marketing and sales;
  • Overseeing and coordinating land subdivisions including utility services, roads and civil infrastructure development.
  • preparing and maintaining development feasibilities, cash flows, budgets and financial forecasts;
  • coordinating development applications and other statutory approval processes;
  • preparing consultant and contractor briefs, reviewing tenders and managing multidisciplinary project teams;
  • monitoring project performance against cost, programme, quality and commercial objectives;
  • maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the development lifecycle.
