- $100,968 - $110,162 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation
About the role
As a Development Engineer in the Roads & Drains team, you will help assess development and subdivision applications across Kingston, ensuring civil and drainage infrastructure meets Council standards and legislative requirements.
You will:
- Assess planning permit applications and engineering plans
- Review drainage designs, catchment calculations, and stormwater management solutions
- Provide advice on Legal Point of Discharge and Build Over Easement applications
- Conduct site inspections and provide engineering advice to developers, residents, and internal stakeholders
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Registration as an Engineer in Victoria
- Knowledge of the Subdivision Act, Building Regulations, Planning and Environment Act, and related legislation
- Ability to assess drainage networks and prepare clear technical reports and correspondence
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
