Expectations and Tasks Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment. Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, DBA, support) to efficiently deploy to production.

Execute unit and system testing of the design once the solution has been developed. Utilize current security tools and technologies. Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.

Design activities include requirement analysis and design documentation. Education and Occupational Experience Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience Web application development using Java, Struts, JavaScript, and JSP SQL development including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MyBatis framework Web and application security including OWASP, OSS upgrades, and SAML CI/CD with Bamboo, BitBucket, JIRA, Github, or Jenkins Unix, Linux, and Windows scripting Docker and Kubernetes Observability frameworks including SumoLogic, Apache Kafka, and O365 Calendar integrations Travel: N/A. Compensation Range Transparency The annual base salary range for this position is $108,077 - $137,700. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $108,077 - $153,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.

Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
