Design Engineer

Location: MIDC Mahape, Navi Mumbai (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time About Us Synergy Viking Offshore Engineering LLP is an offshore engineering company specializing in the design and manufacturing of Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS), Winches, and Hydraulic Power Packs for marine and offshore applications. Our products are certified to international standards including DNV, ABS, and ATEX. Role Overview We are seeking a proficient Design Engineer specializing in hydraulic systems for offshore and marine engineering applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in hydraulic system design, mechanical engineering principles, and 3D CAD software such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and high-performance offshore equipment solutions. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for offshore engineering projects. * Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using CAD software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or SolidWorks. * Perform hydraulic calculations, analyses, and simulations to ensure system performance, efficiency, and reliability. * Support the design and development of offshore equipment including Winches, LARS, and Hydraulic Power Packs. * Collaborate with mechanical, structural, electrical, and production teams for integrated system development. * Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and manufacturing support documents. * Ensure designs comply with applicable offshore and marine industry standards including DNV, ABS, and ATEX requirements. * Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D CAD software. * Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design principles. * Experience in offshore, marine, or heavy engineering industries is highly preferred. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and engineering accuracy. * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Experience * Marine and offshore engineering industry experience. * Hydraulic systems and power pack design. * Winches and Launch & Recovery Systems (LARS). * Mechanical and structural design. * Experience with Fusion 360 and other advanced 3D CAD platforms.
