Job Description:

We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for industrial equipment design. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modeling, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials (BOM) preparation, and design coordination for mechanical systems used in water & wastewater treatment and industrial applications.

Qualification:

·        Degree in Mechanical engineering, Diploma but with adequate experience

·        Experience in Waste Water treatment processes will be preferred.

·        Time management and organization skills

·        Teamwork, Interpersonal skills, good written and oral  communication

·        Technical understanding, Design skills

·        Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical equipment and assemblies using SolidWorks

Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, part drawings, and fabrication drawings.

Create and modify 2D drawings in AutoCAD for layouts and interfaces Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist procurement & manufacturing teams

Perform basic mechanical design calculations and material selection

Coordinate with manufacturing, project, and site teams for design clarification

Support standardization of products and drawings

Revise drawings as per client, internal review, and site feedback

Ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality requirements .            

  Mandatory Skills:

SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings)

AutoCAD (2D drafting)

GA Drawings & Manufacturing Drawings

BOM Preparation

Mechanical Design Fundamentals

Technical Knowledge:
