ABOUT NISIKI
Nisiki Technologies is a Bengaluru-based precision components manufacturer, in business since 1997. We're the market leader in India for 2-wheeler starter motor commutators (~65% share) and small appliance commutators (~85% share), making around 1.8 million commutators a month across two units. We supply Bosch, Honda, Hyundai, TVS, Maruti Suzuki, Havells, DeWalt and Metabo among 100+ active customers, from facilities certified to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is the entry point into Nisiki's engineering function. You'll turn design intent into the drawings that go to the shop floor and to our customers — and if you're good at it, this is the direct route into new product development work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Detail 2D production drawings from 3D models with correct GD&T, surface finish, material and plating callouts
• Apply Nisiki drawing standards consistently across the commutator and slip ring range
• Maintain the drawing register — revision history, superseded status, obsolescence
• Keep the drawing-to-part-number linkage accurate as it feeds the ERP item master
• Build and maintain 2D/3D models for the existing part range
• Create parametric templates for recurring commutator families to cut modelling time on new enquiries
• Prepare drawing packs for RFQ responses and PPAP submissions
• Produce dimensional layouts and first-article documentation for prototype builds
• Basic tolerance stack-up analysis under the supervision of the NPD engineer

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Diploma or BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing drawing office — not a design services or BPO drafting environment
• AutoCAD proficiency, and the ability to read a production drawing critically
• Working understanding of GD&T symbols and what they mean on the shop floor
• Accuracy and revision discipline — this role is trusted with the drawing register

NICE TO HAVE
• SolidWorks or Creo modelling
• Exposure to machined or moulded components
• Awareness of measurement and inspection methods
• Interest in progressing into an NPD or application engineering role

WHY NISIKI
A 25-year-old business behaving like a young one — around 9% revenue CAGR, a new plant coming up in Andhra Pradesh, a ground-up ERP rebuild, a technology licensing agreement with one of Europe's largest commutator manufacturers, and live acquisition activity. The team is lean, so your work is visible to the Managing Director within weeks rather than years.
