Design engineer for fuselage repairs

Role : Design engineer for fuselage repairs Experience: 3-6years Key responsibilities include: Good knowledge in fuselage structure, both primary and secondary structure of Airbus fleet. Understanding of in-service and operator requirement Preparation of Technical Disposition (TD), repair schemes, and RDTS. Analyse and design the modifications or corrective actions referring to the Structural Repair Manual.

Provide required design inputs to Static & Fatigue Assessment teams for their investigation. Knowledge of finding relevant check stress files for the applicable WV’s and Knowledge in the preparation of Static/fatigue Repair work file is an added advantage. Experience in Aircraft repairs – Provide design solutions to in-service damages (accidental and ageing).

Sound knowledge in SRM chapters and repair principles. Sound knowledge ATA and NDT inspection. A/C materials specs, fastener types and rules.

A/C Design Principles and GD&T, Good knowledge in fuselage structure and drawings reading. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-priority tasks, responsiveness. To support in U.S. work timings.
