Role: Design Engineer – Bicycle & E-Bicycle Frames As a Design Engineer, you will work on the design, development, optimization, and manufacturing feasibility of bicycle and e-bicycle frames. You will collaborate with production, R&D, and manufacturing teams to create strong, lightweight, manufacturable, and market-ready frame designs.

What You Will Work On * Bicycle & e-bicycle frame design and development * 3D modeling and CAD designing * Frame geometry optimization * Sheet metal and tube structure design * Welding and fabrication-friendly designs * Prototype development and testing coordination * Design validation and production support * Material selection and weight optimization * Manufacturing drawings and BOM preparation * Coordination with laser cutting, bending, and production teams * Continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturability Skills Preferred * Experience in bicycle or e-bicycle frame design * Knowledge of frame geometry and structural concepts * Strong understanding of fabrication and welding processes * CAD software expertise (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo or similar) * Understanding of manufacturing processes and production feasibility * Problem-solving and product development mindset Your First 90 Days * Understand Dlyft’s manufacturing systems and product vision * Learn existing bicycle and mobility product development processes * Work on frame concepts and prototype improvements * Coordinate with production and fabrication teams * Improve manufacturability and reduce design-related production issues * Support development of scalable mobility products Growth Path At Dlyft, growth is based on ownership, innovation, and execution.
