What you will bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Degree qualifications in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, with experience in civil engineering design and construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of roads, drainage and associated civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related engineering design software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Experience preparing technical specifications, tender documentation and evaluating contractor submissions.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, authorities, colleagues and community members.

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410.60 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
