Deputy Manager / Manager- Business Development (US Markets)

Mandatory: 2+ years of Business Development experience with current US market handling. Applications not meeting these criteria will not be considered.

Location: Only candidates currently based in Mumbai will be considered.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical professional to join our Business Development – US Market team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IQVIA pharmaceutical datasets and a sound understanding of the US generic pharmaceutical market, portfolio evaluation, and commercial analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse IQVIA sales, prescription, pricing, and market datasets to generate business insights.
• Evaluate market opportunities, product attractiveness, and competitive landscape for the US pharmaceutical market.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio assessments.
• Analyse generic market dynamics, pricing trends, market share, and product performance.
• Track ANDA approvals, Paragraph IV filings, patent expiries, exclusivity periods, and regulatory developments.
• Support product selection, licensing opportunities, and Business Development strategy.
• Develop dashboards, MIS reports, KPI trackers, and management presentations.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and analytical reporting.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Commercial, and Finance teams to support strategic decisions.

Mandatory Requirements

✅ Hands-on experience with IQVIA pharmaceutical datasets is mandatory.

✅ Strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical/generic market.

✅ Experience in Business Development Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Market Intelligence, or Portfolio Strategy.

✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Dashboards, Advanced Formulas).

✅ Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
