Job Description

Job Overview This position is for a manager in a franchise‑owned restaurant. Employees are hired and managed by the franchisee, which is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. Manage assigned systems such as training, food safety, and inventory when supervising a department. Guest Service Department Manager: oversee crew and managers to deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and maintain the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas.

Kitchen Department Manager: ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety standards, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items. People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them adequately, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, set a positive tone for new employees, and motivate staff throughout their tenure. Qualifications Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.

Positive team player with flexible schedule who enjoys a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager.
