*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and possess expertise in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics and root canal therapy. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on their specific needs and preferences. * Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative work, root canal therapy, and dental fabrication. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term health. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control protocols. * Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care. * Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate best practices into daily operations.

*Qualifications*

* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. * Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. * Proficiency in prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and other general dentistry procedures. * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Experience using Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred. * Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills. * Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting. * Previous experience in a dental clinic environment is an advantage.
