Delivery Driver

Job Type: Permanent | Full time

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver customer orders to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Load, transport, and handle food orders carefully to maintain product quality.
• Adhere to all road rules, traffic regulations, and company driving policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist with in‑store duties such as food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and packaging when not delivering.
• Process cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and roadworthy delivery vehicle.
• Comply with workplace health and safety procedures and food safety standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant qualification and/or at least 1–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in delivery, transport, retail, or hospitality.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence with a safe driving record.
• Good knowledge of local roads and ability to use navigation systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude with good time‑management and organisational skills.
