Job Description

Overlander Indian Restaurant is Multi Award Winning restaurant in Orange, NSW. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in within the Orana region of NSW. Position details: Full-time, ongoing position

Salary: $73,000 per annum plus superannuation Potential employer sponsorship under the Orana DAMA – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Subclass 494) visa, subject to eligibility and all required approvals

Key responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver food, stock and other restaurant supplies
• Plan efficient delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery times
• Load, secure and unload goods carefully
• Check deliveries against invoices, orders and delivery documents
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proof of delivery
• Collect and reconcile cash payments when required
• Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report faults
• Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the delivery vehicle
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and suppliers
• Comply with road safety, food-handling and workplace safety requirements

Requirements

• Current and valid driver licence
• Relevant delivery-driving experience preferred
• Safe driving record and sound knowledge of road rules
• Ability to lift and handle delivery items safely
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to satisfy the requirements of the Orana DAMA and Subclass 494 visa pathway, where sponsorship is sought
