Delivery Driver / Forklift Driver

Branch Store and Leadership Recruiting – Seven Hills NSW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver / Forklift Driver to join our client's Seven Hills team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for replenishing, storing and organising stock at their Seven Hills warehouse and eight Self-service Distribution Centres (SSDU's) across Greater Sydney. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that SSDU's are well presented for the benefit of their customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an utility vehicle to and from SSDU's on a daily/regular basis in a safe manner
• Safely load and unload vehicles and containers with the aid of a forklift, other lifting devices, and via manual lifting.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, management and customers regarding product.
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Contribute to a safe and organised warehouse environment by maintaining cleanliness and order.

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's C Class license with a clean driving record
• Current Forklift certification and experience
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse operative in a logistics or distribution environment
• Physical fitness and ability to lift appropriate items on a daily basis
• Very good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• A history of stable employment and two recent workplace referees.
